Caso clínico:: Estudiante sordociego con dificultades cognitivas y socioemocionales

Abstract

This research raises the case of a deaf-blind student, which mainly due to contextual factors, presented socioemotional difficulties affecting their educational performance and social participation possible. At 16 years old, when he enters school, presents difficulties in different areas, which from a teamwork, involving a: educator differential, coeducador, occupational therapist and psychologist; they have been resolved and thereby improving their quality of life, as he manages to communicate, increases concentration and attention in classes, relates to the areas in which it operates. however, there is evidence of how disputes or family crisis, may affect or impair the therapeutic process of the student, even causing setbacks in their progress. For this reason, it is necessary to update of practices, both in terms of team as family, enabling to achieve goals that mean gr eater independence and autonomy in the student.
