La lucha ideológica presente en la reforma educacional de 1927

Abstract

The purpose of this research article is to characterize the ideology in the carried out educational reform, during the first government of Carlos Ibáñez del Campo. To achieve those purposes a heuristic - hermeneutical method was used. The study was an explanatory one. The technique used was a historical discourse analysis type. This kind of approach permitted to recognize the libertarian origins of the General Association of Teachers, the modernizing education project implemented by the government of Ibáñez, the active type of school proposed by teachers, and the educational process of counter Reformation used by the government to destroy the teachers’ proposal. The conclusion is that despite having complementary educational proposals, teachers and the government were faced politically, given the libertarian ideology present in teachers and intentions to depoliticize society proposed by the government of Ibáñez.
